The World Ocean Council (WOC) and The Ocean Opportunity Lab (TOOL) are collaborating to launch a global competition focused on innovative solutions and technologies that may improve the prevention, management and monitoring of marine biofouling.
The Innovation Competition is open to startups, innovators, researchers and collaborative initiatives. Established corporates cannot participate in the competition. Submissions are invited under 3 general categories where there is a critical demand for sustainable solutions:
Surface cleaning & maintenance
Monitoring biofouling and measuring performance
